MRI Technologist

The MRI technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast‑paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment. We are looking for individuals to join our team in a full‑time role. Monday‑Friday 40hrs, 6:00am‑2:30pm (flexible). Job Description Who We Are: Shields Health Care Group is an independent, Massachusetts‑based medical service provider with a national reputation for blending exceptional customer service with superior technology. What You Will Do Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety. Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam at their level of understanding. Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards. Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort. Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam. Perform scans in accordance with the center’s protocol. Administer intravenous contrast. Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam. Record patient data to the Tech Data Entry program. Provide and issue films/CDs when appropriate. Forward data and/or films/CDs to the Radiologist upon completion of exam. Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise. Clean and re‑supply equipment and rooms as needed. Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy. Contrast Administration Required to administer contrast safely and follow all related protocols. What You Need Prior MRI scanning experience. MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications; ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods. Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties. Potential participation in a call schedule/rotation for inpatient locations. Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty‑five pounds. Physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $40‑$60 per hour + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
