Associate, Cyber Security Regulatory Support

Salary: $110,000 - 138,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for candidates with 5+ years of Information Security and IT Risk experience performing risk advisory oversight for large financial services firms, or 4+ years in a related consulting role.
• A BS in MIS, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline is typically expected.
• We value 5+ years in IT Risk, IT Governance, or IT Audit within a financial services company, or experience as an Information Security manager in financial services.
• We also consider 4+ years of related consulting experience at a large consulting firm, or 6+ years as an accomplished information technologist and technology risk management practitioner.
• We expect 3+ years of experience with information security management frameworks such as CRI, CAT, NIST, ISO, or CSI.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA are preferred.
• Program eligibility includes a minimum of 2 years of active uniformed service.
• A bachelors degree, obtained before or after military service, is required for program eligibility.
• The role is open to U.S. veterans regardless of rank or branch of service.
• Candidates must be able to begin employment in October 2026.

• We develop and maintain a framework of key cybersecurity controls and evidence owned by Information Security personnel.
• We maintain the inventory of global cybersecurity requirements that must be assessed for alignment or compliance.
• We partner with global subject matter experts to refresh the control and evidence framework and define test steps.
• We facilitate testing of control design and effectiveness.
• We identify opportunities to improve controls and processes.
• We perform and document compliance assessments against selected global regulations.
• We create and enhance presentations for senior and executive management, clients, and regulators, and maintain a global repository of regional board, committee, and regulator presentations.
• We support regulatory change activity by monitoring new requirements, preparing actions, attending meetings, taking notes, and producing summary reports for management.
• We evaluate third-party assessments of the Information Security function.
• We support the metrics program.
• We propose updates to cybersecurity policies and standards.
• We drive process and control enhancements across Information Security where improvements are needed.
