Position: Licensed Care Specialist

Location: Rice Lake Elementary

Hours: 3.5 hours/day - 12:00-3:30

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Wage: $29.92 per hour or $31.92 per hour if licensed RN

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) with the State of Minnesota.
• Must have CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift/move/push/pull as required by the assignment.
• Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
• Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
• Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care
• Medication Administration
• Maintenance and updating of Student Health Files/Immunizations
• Health Screenings
• Implementation of Procedures under the direction/delegation of the Licensed School Nurse
