Certified Nurse Assistant

Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position Do not administer medications or therapy Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care Accomplish job duties consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines Perform other related duties as assigned or requested Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state where the hospital resides Current BLS certification required No experience required Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in patient care activities under supervision, adhering to health policies and procedures.
