Job Description & Requirements Travel Nurse RN (MICU – Medical Intensive Care Unit) for a travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Position Details: Specialty: MICU – Medical Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS certification At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting Additional qualifications may be required by the client facility Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care, education, and support to patients and families. Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes. Monitor vital signs, observing heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress. Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration. Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly control changes in a patient’s physical condition. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
