Engineering Project Manager

The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams. Success in this role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously. A solid foundation in engineering principles, project planning, and basic financial analysis is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer & Requirements Alignment
  • Partner with Sales and Systems teams to understand customer needs, equipment specs, and upgrade requirements.
  • Review proposals, cost sheets, and contracts for accuracy and customer-specific requirements.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work with domestic and international teams to coordinate build schedules and technical details.
  • Solidify product specifications requiring engineering knowledge and technical judgment.
  • Support manufacturing teams during equipment buy-off and shipment preparation.
• Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar tools.
  • Track changes, update timelines, and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery.
  • Document milestone meetings and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Participate in weekly contract reviews and cross-project planning sessions.
• Lifecycle Ownership
  • Manage projects from order through shipment, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Communicate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources, suppliers, and engineering inputs to keep projects on track.
• Process Improvement
  • Evaluate current project management practices and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with implementation and optimization of project management software.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience (engineering background ideal, open to construction management background)
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar)
• CAPM or similar certification preferred.
• Understanding of complex industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of project planning, risk evaluation, and mitigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and MS Project (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Centennial, CO.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Stolle Machinery offers a comprehensive and highly-rated benefits package.
