About the Job

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Part-Time Medical Records Specialist to join our fast-paced, multi-specialty practice. This role plays a key part in supporting patient care by managing communications, processing documentation, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Enter referral data accurately and efficiently.
Answer phones & respond to voicemails in a timely manner.
Manage incoming fax requests.
Certified Letters.
Process patient FMLA paperwork.
Pre-certifications.
Receive and process all medical records requests.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all PHI.
Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

HIPPA Compliant.
Proficient with computers.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong data entry skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
Able to respond to requests promptly.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Proficient with Electronic Health Records.

Work Schedule:

In-office (Danbury).
Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM.
Up to 28 hours per week.

Compensation:

Salary based on experience.
