Dollinger Associates, P.C., an established Rochester-area real estate law firm, is seeking an experienced Residential Mortgage Lending Paralegal to join our growing team.

This position offers the opportunity to independently manage residential mortgage lending transactions while becoming an integral part of our team, with potential for future growth into a departmental leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage residential mortgage lending files from opening through closing.
• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and other parties to facilitate timely and accurate closings.
• Review title commitments, loan documentation, closing figures, and related requirements.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues throughout the closing process.
• Maintain strong relationships and clear communication with our lending clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and fellow paralegals to ensure an efficient and positive closing experience.
• Contribute ideas to improve workflow, procedures, and overall departmental efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of residential mortgage lending closing experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of New York State residential real estate transactions and mortgage lending procedures.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support fellow team members.
• Strong work ethic, professional judgment, and a commitment to exceptional client service.
• Interest in continued professional development and potential leadership opportunities.
