Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM. Optional post-shift and weekend call, with holiday call required. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our small team at a low-volume hospital. The ideal candidate will work independently, as the sole NMT on shift, with responsibilities including performing routine nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring the safe handling of radioactive materials. Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine scans including but not limited to PET scans, flow/function studies, and various infusion tests. Maintain safety and quality standards in handling and disposing of radioactive materials. Assist in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals as required for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient care and outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Certification by either NMTCB or CNMT is required. GE experience is preferred for this role. BLS certification is required. Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
