Position Overview: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for improvement and maintenance of equipment of our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with production team to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial processes, equipment maintenance, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations.
• Monitor plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate repairs with maintenance manager and technicians.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead projects to upgrade machinery, improve processes, or enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and management.
• Work with a CMM program (MaintainX)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (2 years) in an industrial plant setting, preferably in food industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
