Data Solutions Architect

Responsibilities Work with business customers, leadership, and product owners to understand integration data needs. Enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and integration processes. Influence data owners, modelers, engineers, and analysts to recommend relevant solutions. Define integration data flows across organizational parts. Design sophisticated data models ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations. Stay ahead of emerging data technologies and recommend enhancements. Collaborate internally to deliver products that align with Ferguson’s strategy. Prepare detailed design specifications for implementations. Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems and provide solutions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science or related field preferred. 4+ years of hands‑on experience working in data integrations across different business domains. Developed innovative architectural designs for large commercial enterprises (5000+ associates). Expert level experience defining system architecture and delivering comprehensive solutions. Hands‑on experience with integration as it relates to data constructs (designing and developing data transformations). Knowledge of MongoDB, Oracle RDBMS, Java and Webservices preferred.
