Title: Assistant Research Biostatistician - Part Time/Temp Location: Upper East Side Org Unit: Research Work Days: Monday-Friday Weekly Hours: 10.00 Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $48.08 - $55.00 *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary Under direction, provides scientific and statistical support to faculty and research investigatorsJob Responsibilities Assists faculty in preparation of IRB proposals. Assists with data development and collection. Analyzes research data using basic and advanced statistical methodologies; interprets results for clinical investigators and prepares reports. Performs short-term and long-term biostatistical consultations with clinical investigators. Assists in database design programming and database management. Assists in the development of research designs. Contributes to teaching biostatistical methodology to medical students, residents, fellows and other staff. Writes methods sections and analysis plans for incorporation into protocols, abstracts, manuscripts and grants. Education Master's Degree in related field Experience Approximately 2 years of related experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Critical thinking, prioritization of tasks, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
