Sales Estimator

American Metal Specialties is seeking a motivated Sales Estimating professional to join our growing sales team specializing in sheet metal precision parts. This position is responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal parts fabrication, materials and pricing. Must have excellent communication and negotiating skills. HOURS: Day shift: M-Fri, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm This is not a remote position. Salary: DOE ++Monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached. Work closely with management and shop personnel ensuring estimates align with company capabilities and resources. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer needs and offer solutions when needed. Qualifications: 5 years of experience in estimating or sales in the sheet metal industry Strong understanding of sheet metal processes, pricing and materials Sheet metal shop experience a plus, but not required Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment We offer a full benefit package to employees working full-time at 30+ hrs. per week.
