Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, address changes in condition, and document accurately in the chart.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Involve patients and families in education, discharge planning, and follow-up planning to promote safety and continuity of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, healing environment, adhering to infection prevention and device-related policies.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS certification required per policy
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care/Med-Surg nursing experience
- Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting and to participate in a 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM day shift schedule
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
