Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its established Employment and Labor practice in Chicago, IL .
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated employment litigation and counseling and wants to develop a management-side practice while working alongside experienced attorneys representing employers across a broad range of industries.
Qualifications2+ years of litigation or employment law experience , with an interest in management-side employment counseling and litigation.
Experience advising employers on workplace issues and employment-related disputes is preferred.
Experience with wage and hour collective and class actions is a plus, but not required.
Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.
A genuine interest in developing a long-term management-side Labor & Employment practice.
The firm's comprehensive Employment and Labor practice represents employers in sophisticated workplace litigation and counseling matters.
Attorneys will have opportunities to:
Represent employers in employment-related litigation and disputes .
Advise management on workplace policies, compliance, and employment law issues.
Assist with wage and hour collective and class action litigation .
Conduct legal research, draft motions and pleadings, and participate in litigation strategy.
Collaborate with experienced attorneys and develop meaningful client relationships.
Base salary of $215,000–$235,000 , depending on experience and qualifications
Sophisticated management-side employment litigation and counseling
Exposure to wage and hour collective and class action matters
