Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role at Crescent Ridge Veterinary Hospital. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional medical and surgical care to patients, conducting physical exams, and developing treatment plans. The Associate Veterinarian will also be responsible for excellent client communication and education, and consultation with other members of the veterinary team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with experienced professionals, however, the Associate Veterinarian must be able to manage daily caseloads without direct supervision. Duties Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to pets and clients Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to create and implement tailored treatment plans Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of care Communicate effectively with pet owners, educating them on the best care practices Maintain the AAHA standards for Veterinary annual continuing education requirements - 50 hours per year in the field of veterinary medicine Qualification DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania Experience in companion animal medicine and surgery Proficiency in performing general surgical procedures Strongmedical skills.Strong surgical and dental skills are desirable Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other members of the veterinary team Compassionate and empathetic towards patients, clients, and co-workers Salary - $120,000-$150,000plusproductionand competitive benefits Benefits for full-time veterinarians Paid holidays 4 weeks of paid time off A monthly stipend to cover a portion of medical insurance Yearly uniform allowance Paid licensing fees and membership dues to professional organizations such as AVMA and Fear Free A yearly stipend for continuing education Generous discount off all products and services Vendor promotions for employees (e.g., free flea/tick products) Crescent Ridge Veterinary Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
