Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients.
• Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement treatment plans under physician direction.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver timely, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ED.
• Document all care in the electronic health record with accuracy and compliance to policies and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and arrange referrals as appropriate.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and adhere to regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity ED
• Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital ED setting
