About the Position

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Preferred experience with Cerner Description: 3x12 NIGHTS - no block schedule will be offered. Must be able to start no later than 5/11. Daily average surgical case volume exceeds 40. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit performs various surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, neuro, gynecologic, urology, vascular, and robotic surgeries. The ideal candidate should have skills in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomy, appendectomy, and more. Preferred experiences include trauma level I and proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. Candidates must demonstrate competence in aseptic technique and instrument processing. Teamwork and interdisciplinary support are essential for this position.
