Junior Estimator
Our company is looking for a Junior Estimator to be responsible for measuring the flooring square footage on a project and generating a bid proposal for our commercial clients in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the documents, floor plans, and overall project plans for our commercial clients for their specific flooring needs
- Estimate roughly 12 projects per week and determine what factors of production will influence cost
- Preparing material and labor estimates for the floor installation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, architects, and other estimators
- Generating bids for contractors and using data to create cost analysis
Qualifications
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Experience using Excel or Quick books to create and organize spreadsheets
- Prior experience in working with a general contractor or subcontractor (Preferred)
