Regional Sales Manager - North Texas & Oklahoma

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of mechanical and electro-mechanical power transmission products seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover North Texas and Oklahoma .

This is a manufacturer-direct sales position with a respected product line that includes gear reducers, gearmotors, electric motors, and variable frequency drives used across a wide range of industrial applications.

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales and market share throughout the territory by developing new accounts while expanding relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on revenue and market-share growth.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new OEM, end-user, and distribution opportunities.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying additional applications and opportunities to increase share of wallet.
• Build relationships with engineering, operations, purchasing, maintenance, and other key decision-makers.
• Conduct product presentations and work with customers to understand their applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Work closely with NORD's internal engineering, customer service, and management teams to support customers and move opportunities forward.
• Manage and develop distributor relationships throughout the territory.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain an active pipeline and effectively manage sales activity throughout the territory.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical aptitude, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to independently develop new business.

Preferred experience includes:

• 2+ years of successful outside industrial sales experience, or a strong inside-sales background with the ability to transition into territory sales.
• Experience selling technical or engineered products into industrial customers.
• Background in mechanical power transmission, gearboxes, gearmotors, motors, VFDs, automation, motion control, industrial distribution, or related products is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify and develop new accounts rather than relying solely on an established customer base.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical education or training required; a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to travel throughout North Texas and Oklahoma as necessary to effectively develop the territory.
