GS-0511-12 Auditor

As a GS-0511-12 Auditor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Performing audits of agency programs and operations in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS).
2. Performing analysis tasks that are complex and require application of a variety of audit techniques and methodologies, as well as specific industry knowledge and auditor creativity.
3. Preparing audit working papers and ensuring that documentation fully supports audit results and complies with professional standards. Drafting audit reports ensuring they are clear, concise, and technically correct and conform to agency policies, as well as GAGAS.
4. Participating with the audit team in meetings, briefings, and conferences with high-level management officials from the DeCA, other federal agencies, and contractors regarding audit findings.
5. Assisting audit management with identifying key areas for future audits.
