Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Spring Valley, MN, working in a skilled nursing setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Minnesota Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum 6 months of recent experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar post-acute setting. Experience managing daily patient volumes consistent with SNF expectations, including productivity standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with high daily patient volumes (approximately 8–15 patients per day). Familiarity with productivity standards and documentation expectations in long-term care or senior living environments. Previous travel or contract therapy experience. Assignment Details Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with an 85% productivity standard. Schedule: Monday through Friday, five days per week. Setting: Skilled nursing / senior living facilities in Spring Valley area; candidate may be required to float between nearby sites as needed. No call or weekend coverage required. Impacting Patient Care Provide rehabilitative services to older adults in skilled nursing and senior living communities. Support continuity of care by delivering evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and progress documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and maintain facility productivity standards.
