The Difference You Will Make The Lead Barista supports daily operations within Morning Ritual by preparing high-quality beverages, ensuring consistent service standards, and guiding barista team members. This role assists with training, product quality control, workflow coordination, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.
What You'll Bring: - Provide warm, friendly, and efficient service to all guests.
- Answer questions about the menu, coffee origins, brewing methods, and specialty drinks.
- Resolve minor guest concerns and communicate larger issues to management.
- Prepare beverages consistently and to recipe standards.
- Maintain a high level of coffee knowledge, including grind settings, extraction, milk texturing, and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure drinks meet presentation and quality standards before serving.
- Maintain inventory levels for coffee, syrups, milk, and bar supplies.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment daily.
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least one (1) year of related café and customer experience required.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a food and drink preparation environment including heat and steam, and café machinery.
Location and Travel: Position will be based in Nashville, TN, Brier Creek, NC, Pflugerville, TX or Columbus, OH with occasional travel to local stores.
