Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, located in an acute care setting, provides urgent and emergent care to patients requiring immediate attention. The role involves responding to critical situations, performing assessments, and delivering high-quality patient care based on established protocols and standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering emergency care in an acute care environment, following unit-specific protocols and standards of practice. Responsible for documentation and effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) are required.
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Emergency Room nursing.
• License to Submit: Yes
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Shift start time is 7:00 a.m., ending at 7:00 p.m., every other week.
• Additional Information: Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts within a 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Charting is completed using Cerner.
