Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to patients facing emotional challenges associated with terminal illness, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and grief. \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each patient’s mental health status, emotional stability, and social wellbeing, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs. \n
- Develop, implement, and periodically revise evidence-based treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and specifically tailored to align with the individual needs and preferences of each patient. \n
- Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and caregivers, to ensure an integrated and effective approach to patient care. \n
- Monitor and document patient progress in line with established treatment goals, adapting strategies based on patient feedback and clinical observations. \n
- Educate and empower patients and their families by providing essential information on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources. \n
- Maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent protocols are followed at all times. \n
This role primarily focuses on adult patients experiencing terminal illnesses who may also be struggling with mental health issues. - A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. \n
