Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Pay: $22.00–$25.00/hr

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Location: Redmond, WA

Overview

Join a growing team supporting warehouse operations through shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, material handling, order picking, or shipping and receiving environments. You'll help ensure accurate inventory management, timely shipments, and uninterrupted production support in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation

• Prepare, package, label, and ship outbound products using UPS, FedEx, and other carrier systems

• Perform order picking, material handling, and inventory transactions

• Build and issue material kits to support production schedules

• Stock, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory locations

• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently

• Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions into company systems

• Maintain accurate inventory records and material traceability

• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy

• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse, material handling, inventory, shipping, or receiving experience

• Experience with inventory control and stockroom operations

• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to become certified

• Experience using shipping systems such as UPS, FedEx, or similar platforms

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Ability to accurately count inventory and maintain records

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift

Preferred

• Experience with cycle counting and inventory audits

• Experience issuing materials to production or manufacturing teams

• International shipping experience

• ERP or warehouse management system experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
