Electrical Estimator

Supporting federal government construction projects remotely, the full-time Electrical Estimator will develop detailed cost estimates for new construction, renovations, and modernization, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities Prepare detailed conceptual, design, and construction cost estimates for federal building projects Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs Analyze contractor bids, change orders, and cost proposals for reasonableness Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field Minimum of 7 years of professional electrical estimating experience supporting commercial, institutional, or federal construction projects Experience preparing detailed electrical estimates for vertical building construction projects Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and telecommunications Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
