Set up, program, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to perform close-tolerance turning and cutting operations Operate computer-controlled machines and equipment to manufacture metal components Read and follow blueprints, department routings, and shop travelers Perform frequent quality checks and accurate measurements to ensure parts meet specifications Check inserts and tooling, and replace inserts, blades, or cutters as needed Communicate any deviations or quality concerns to supervisors Participate in cross-training Machines, controls and software

Works on CNC lathes performing close-tolerance turning and cutting; Mazak experience is a plus. What we're looking forRequired

High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years or older Preferred

CNC lathe setup and programming knowledge CNC machining experience or training Mazak experience Experience with precision measuring equipment Strong general problem-solving ability Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers Vocational/technical education or a Machine Tool diploma Pay, benefits and schedule

Pay:

$25.00–$35.00/hour, based on experience, plus a 2nd & 3rd shift premium. Schedule:

Full-time, 45–50 hours per week, 2nd or 3rd shift, with overtime available.
