Crisis Technician I

UPMC – University of Pittsburgh Medical Center seeks a Crisis Technician I to support behavioral health patients in acute and emergency settings. In this role, you will assist with crisis stabilization, de-escalation, safety monitoring, and basic patient care under clinical supervision. You will obtain vital signs, assist with intake, document observations, and support therapeutic activities. Working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, you will collaborate closely with nurses, social workers, and physicians to ensure safe, compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing psychiatric or emotional crises.
