The private, not-for-profit institution is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education and plays an important role in training the next generation of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical and operational leadership for the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes.Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource utilization.Recruit, coach, develop, and evaluate nursing staff.Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives.Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and federal regulations.Monitor department metrics, patient satisfaction, and quality indicators.Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to drive operational excellence.Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and service excellence.QualificationsEducation and Work Experience1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse. 2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary. 4. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.6.
