Overview

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to become part of our esteemed Women's Health Care Center located in Mooresville, NC. • Become a member of a well-established practice that has been serving the Raleigh metropolitan area for over 35 years.
• The practice operates from two locations in Morrisville and Cary.
• Our team includes 6 OB/GYN physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 1 women's health nurse practitioner, along with a strong administrative support staff.
• Responsibilities encompass patient consultations, charting, returning calls regarding lab results, addressing patient inquiries, providing education, electronically or telephonically sending prescriptions, and administering medications, among other patient care tasks.
• Enjoy a work schedule of 4.5 days per week, with no night shifts, weekends, on-call duties, or hospital responsibilities.
• Manage a patient load of 15-25 individuals per day in the clinic.
• Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic women's health issues.
• Provide counseling on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options.
• Care for both obstetric and gynecological patients, and perform or assist with various minimally invasive procedures such as pap smears and IUD placements/removals.

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in the state or the ability to secure it.
• Current unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain it.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certification or the ability to acquire them.
• Skilled in patient assessment and treatment plan development.
• Strong communication skills with patients, team members, and management.
• Ability to make independent care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision.
• Preferred: One year of full-time experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
