This role involves assisting in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced environment. The Technologist utilizes their specific modality to create diagnostic images. Providing patients with a safe and positive experience is essential. Technologists support teaching and continue learning as technology changes. Responsibilities include trauma and emergency room scanning as well as performing CT exams on outpatients and inpatients. This includes those receiving intensive care, research patients, and patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures. The Technologist practices and enforces radiation safety measures.
