Naval Dosimetry Center Instrumentation Specialist
Job Description
You will design, develop, test and evaluate radiation instrumentation and other devices utilized in the mission of the Naval Dosimetry Center.
You will apply principles of the physics of radiation interaction, thermodynamics, optics, mechanics and electronics in accomplishment of the mission.
You will exercise professional judgement and vision and utilize professional knowledge of fundamental scientific and engineering principles in the pursuit of critical work.
You will test the reliability and stability of the devices to assure that adequate personnel dosimetry can be economically accomplished.
You will prepare proposed, justified, documented determinations of acceptance or rejections of proposals submitted.
