Operations Support Associate

Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking an Operations Support Associate for a 3+ month contract opportunity located in Houston, TX. This role is fully onsite.

Role Overview

The Operations Support Associate supports sales and branch operations by managing data, resolving administrative issues, and ensuring accurate customer contracts, billing, and invoicing. This role may support multiple business units and is essential for maintaining proper documentation, payment processing, and customer issue resolution

Key Responsibilities

• Perform non-routine tasks to resolve customer issues
• Review, analyze, and cleanse data
• Collaborate with internal and external customers
• Provide on-site support to service centers as needed
• Handle exception reporting for non-compliant purchase orders
• Resolve issues from third-party order processors
• Create orders for quoted jobs or installations in SAP
• Submit invoices through vendor portals
• Assist with standard customer master data workflows
• Maintain a safe work environment and support a high-impact, innovative culture
• Work independently or with supervision as needed
• Execute tasks within Delegation of Authority (DOA) poli cy

Education & Experience

3-5 years experience

• Strong ERP skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Familiarity with Field Service or CRM tools (e.g., MS Field Service, MS CRM)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High school diploma + 2 years relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated capability in similar wo

Additional Details

-Assists with the coordination of the operating activities and documentation of an organization, branch, plant, or department.

-Performs a variety of office and administrative tasks in support of the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager.

-Helps in the development and implementation of the organization's policies, practices, procedures, business plans, and attainment of operating goals.

-Works on the communication and implementation of operational strategies, solutions, and company policies and procedures to employees.

-Helps to establish or adjust work procedures to meet schedules.

-Proposes measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or services, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency

Pay Rate- $23.00-$24.50/ hour depending on skills and experience
