General Accountant

JOB TITLE: GENERAL ACCOUNTANT SALARY This is a full-time position/pay is dependent on experience. DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for overseeing complex accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization's overall financial integrity and compliance. Manages critical components of the monthly and year-end process, including balance sheet reconciliations, grant accounting, payroll accounting, journal entries, expense reclassifications, amortization, depreciation and financial reporting activities, along with other functions as required. Supports the efforts of the CFO MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS Must have experience in accounting and finance Must be solutions-oriented Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manner.
