Unit Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a 13-week assignment in the CT unit. The position requires working night shifts from 9 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch break included.

Shift Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 9 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday - Thursday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:

• Equipment Familiarity: GE 32 slice Rev EVO, Toshiba 32 slice
• Imaging Rooms: 4 GE (1 FF Digital, 2 retrofitted with Carestream digital)
• Portables: 3 digital (2 GE, 1 Carestream)
• C-Arms: 5 GE
• GE PACS experience
• Meditech RIS experience

Certifications

• ARRT (CT) Certification required.
• Texas Licensed Radiologist required.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be required to perform the following:

• Conduct CT scans and X-rays in accordance with protocols.

Dress Code

Proper attire is essential for this position:

• Scrub Color: Gray or solid-colored scrubs (facility will not provide scrubs).
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; artificial nails are not permitted.
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; longer hair must be pulled back.
• Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
