Lead Radiologic Technologist | Weekend - Nights | Sign On - Relo | VUH

Location: Nashville, Tennessee. Job Summary The Lead Radiologic Technologist coordinates with the Supervisor Radiology and/or Manager Radiology to ensure that adequate resources are available to ensure exams are performed in a timely manner and meet department quality and safety standards. May assign personnel on a shift to specific jobs and adjust assignments as exam volume demands. Plays a pivotal direct clinical support role for a manager, supervisor or director. Lead Radiologic Technologist experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED). Position Highlights $10,000 sign on bonus. Relocation stipend. Full time | 3 12‑hour shifts per week | Fri./Sat./Sun. Industry competitive rates. Shift differentials are available. The sign‑on bonus and relocation stipend are not applicable to current Vanderbilt Health staff or former staff who have worked for Vanderbilt Health in the past twelve months. The sign‑on bonus and relocation stipend are only available for full‑time positions. Key Responsibilities Functions as a shift lead or key pivotal direct clinical support role for one or more modalities in Radiology. Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging. Applies broad range of skills to ensure advanced exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards. Coordinates with the Supervisor Radiology and Manager Radiology to ensure adequate staffing model is maintained for the shift. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff. Patient Documentation (Advanced): Demonstrates expertise in patient documentation; lead role in complex situations; contributes to best practices.
