Pay Rate: $ 2,300 To $ 2,545 per week

Schedule: Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekends

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week contract position in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The RN will provide comprehensive maternal-newborn nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Operating Room, PACU, and Postpartum , including couplet care.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal status and provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.

• Manage Labor & Delivery patients while recognizing changes in clinical condition and initiating appropriate nursing interventions.

• Provide perioperative and recovery nursing support for obstetric procedures, including OR and PACU responsibilities.

• Provide postpartum and couplet care while educating and supporting mothers, newborns, and families.

• Serve in Charge RN responsibilities as assigned and maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License or Qualifying Compact RN License Required.

• Minimum 2 Years of Labor & Delivery Nursing Experience Required; Previous Charge RN Experience Required.

• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.

• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and S.T.A.B.L.E. Certifications Required.

• Current Flu Vaccination Required During the Applicable Flu Season; Traveler Must Reside at Least 75 Miles From the Work Location.

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse will provide skilled, compassionate, and evidence-based maternal-newborn care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and perioperative services.
