Cardiology Physician

Opportunity:

Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens position covering inpatient cardiology services
• See approximately 15 patients per shift
• Inpatient cardiology experience required
• Non-invasive cardiology skills required, including echocardiography, transesophageal echo (TEE), and nuclear cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
• Invasive cardiology (diagnostic only) experience required
• Preferred skills include PA catheter placement, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement, cardiac catheterization, and heart biopsy
• Preferred interventional cardiology skills include angioplasty (PTCA), intracoronary stent placement, and atherectomy
• Preferred electrophysiology skills include cardiac ablation, permanent pacemaker placement, and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD/ICD) placement
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
• Fellowship training required
• Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
