Physical Therapist (PT) - Full Time Parklands Care Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team full‑time. In this rewarding role, you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to residents in our subacute rehabilitation unit, helping them regain mobility and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on each resident's specific goals and needs. Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, and functional independence. Patient Education: Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and strategies for preventing injuries. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, nurses, and physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care. Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Licensure: Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Experience: Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
