Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor Wenatchee, WA. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a medical-surgical unit, adhering to hospital policies and standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The position requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience, with a preference for candidates with four or more years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Wenatchee, WA
• Schedule: Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • WA State or Compact RN licensure
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment of at least 1 year (preferred 4 years)
  • Must have charge nurse experience
  • Ability to float as a sitter and between different campuses, if necessary
• Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver personalized patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Develop, implement, and reassess individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
  • Evaluate discharge plans and patient education needs
  • Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
  • Conduct holistic patient assessments and respond accordingly
  • Educate patients and families on health information in a timely manner
  • Supervise care provided by assistive personnel
  • Participate in performance improvement processes
  • Collaborate effectively with all healthcare team members
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment according to hospital and unit policies
