As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Equipment Handling in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will respond to concerns, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vendor entry requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
