Lead Analyst Job Status: Full-Time Min. Experience level: 10 years in financial / operational role with significant Project management experience Compensation: 130,000k-170,000k Travel: 70-75% (willing to travel to various project sites) About the Role Implementation Engineers is seeking an experienced Lead Analyst with strong project management, problem‑solving and financial modeling skills. Candidates must be seasoned professionals who have successfully identified, led and managed high‑impact improvement projects both operationally and organizationally. Candidates must have an instinctive ability to quickly understand the strategic direction of clients, to quickly gather data, analyze what is being discovered, and construct the path forward required for client success. They must be able to convey perception, data, and observations into a cohesive narrative, allowing clients to understand their current state, know the path to success, and trust that it is achievable. Prior experience across multiple industries—including Food, Aerospace, Hi‑Tech, Pharmaceuticals, Mining, Chemical, Metal Processing, or Automotive—is preferred, with solid cross‑functional experience in Operations, Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will lead our Implementation Engineering teams to: Guide our clients through a structured process that deals with resources, decision‑making, resistance identification and resolution, conflict management, skills enhancement, organizational development, metrics and performance results, coaching, mentoring, and behavioral change. Provide a structured picture of the client’s current state versus their desired state from both a cultural basis and a performance level. This will include the client’s perspective, historic performance, and observations of current state. Create, document, and communicate to the client the methods used and approach to transform to the desired future state. Ensure that the data and current needs resonate with the client, enabling them to move forward to the project phase and ensuring the success of the execution stage. Develop detailed improvement implementation plans including timing, impacts, and resources. Perform various operational analyses to support work‑stream leads during studies on client engagements. Build solid relationships with the client leadership to instill trust in Implementation’s ability to deliver results. Continually seek to understand the client’s business and priorities and to design and/or deliver effective solutions to the client’s business challenges. How We Deliver at Implementation Engineers Act as a Change Agent by supporting clients in adopting and sustaining improvements through clear communication, coaching, and engagement, following Implementation Engineers’ change management best practices. Apply Project Management Best Practices to plan, execute, and monitor project activities using IE’s standard delivery processes and tools. Operate Within IE Governance and Standards including: Maintaining an up‑to‑date and actively managed project plan; Following established change management processes; Ensuring consistent, proactive communication with key stakeholders. Maintain Program Transparency by keeping project documentation current, organized, and accessible within IE’s Program Collaboration Workspace. Leverage IE Governance Tools such as Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams for effective planning, tracking, collaboration, and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Business, STEM (Science, Tech, Math, Engineering), or Finance program Experience in Financial Statement Analysis and Interpretation Established and proven consulting experience (minimum 5 years) Excellent project management skills Excellent analytical and current state assessment skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self‑motivated with exceptional organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft office tools including Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint at a minimum Excellent data analysis and advanced proficiency of Excel required Influential Leadership/Selling/Closing skills Willingness to travel up to 75% as required This person is critical to ensure that our clients’ expectations are exceeded, and future business is secured.
