CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Home Daily - Mon-Fri Day Shift

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Local Intermodal & Customer Delivery Driver in the Memphis area. Enjoy a consistent, predictable Monday through Friday Day Shift, sleep in your own bed every night, and get paid a competitive hourly wage with massive weekend/holiday premiums. Intermodal experience is a plus, but we will train the right driver!

Hourly Pay & Premium Incentives:

Your experience level dictates your starting base rate, with massive earning potential built in for premiums and bonuses:

Experience-Based Base Pay:

0–3 Years Experience: $20.50 / hour
3–6 Years Experience: $21.00 / hour
6–9 Years Experience: $21.50 / hour
10+ Years Experience: $22.00 / hour

Premium Pay Incentives:

Weekend Premium: Additional +$5.50 / hour
Holiday Premium: Additional +$5.50 / hour
Night Shift Premium: Additional +$1.00 / hour (if applicable)

Bonuses & Safety Pay:

Monthly Performance Bonus: Average of $200/month based on company performance.
Detention Pay (paid after 2 hours) & $200.00 Layover Pay.

Schedule & Home Time:

Home Time: HOME DAILY
Schedule: Consistent Monday through Friday. Weekend work is optional but comes with massive premium pay!
Shift: Day Shift (Start time is approximately 6:00 AM).
Workday Length: 8–12 hour days depending on daily freight volume.

Operating Area & Freight Profile:

Operating Area: Local Memphis Metropolitan area, including Memphis, TN and Oakland, TN. Zero Over-The-Road travel.
The Work: Pick up and drop off containers and dry van freight from local rail yards, container depots, customer facilities, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers.
Equipment: Well-maintained, late-model Class A tractors pulling 53' Dry Vans and Intermodal Containers.
