If you enjoy interacting with patients and want to grow in a collaborative care setting, this role is perfect for you.Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMNo on-call requirementsFully onsite position at SSM Health Ambulatory Care Center CSM (Missouri)Provide comprehensive hearing evaluations and hearing aid servicesCochlear Implant (CI) experience preferred, but not requiredJoin a collaborative, patient-focused team dedicated to improving hearing health and quality of lifeAnticipated start date approximately 90 days after offer acceptance due to the credentialing process.Location: MO-SSM Health Ambulatory Care Center CSMApply today, jobs.ssmhealth.com - We bring out the incredible in you, every day.Job Summary:Performs audiological and vestibular function testing; develops hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment.Develops, documents, implements and evaluates hearing correction plan.Provides hearing device modifications.Educates and counsels patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care.Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONMaster's degree in AudiologyEXPERIENCENo experience requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSFrequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Frequent keyboard use/data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing.REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment.
