POSITION SUMMARYThe Buyer is responsible for ensuring the supply of materials at a site to support manufacturing. The successful candidate for this position has experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of supply chain management concepts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Work in conjunction with a team of Buyers to purchase electronic components, bare boards, hardware, custom fabricated parts, and subcontracting services.Interact with Engineers, Project Managers, Quality Management, and Production to ensure that all procurement needs are met.Work with the Accounting department to ensure that all material is properly tracked and processed.Manage inventory according to policies and procedures; manage reverse logistics and returns for material that does not meet requirements.Develop vendor relationships in support best outcomes for cost, scope, schedule, and quality.Utilize current data in support of reorders.Execute on savings targets as directed by management.Conduct sourcing analyses based on supplier quotes to recommend the best suppliers to award business to.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
