Position: Nurse Practitioner - OBGYN
Salary: $145,000 - $160,000
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235 (Brighton Beach Area)
Type: Full-Time
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our private practice located in the vibrant Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn, NY. Role Summary
As an OBGYN Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in managing women's health with responsibilities ranging from preventive care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of women's health issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine examinations and screenings such as pelvic exams, Pap tests, and prenatal care.
- Manage and treat common health problems in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Provide guidance, counseling, and education on reproductive health, contraception, and general wellness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.
- Support patient-centered care in a respectful and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
- Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a focus in women's health.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
