Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Crystal Lake, IL Specialty: Emergency Room Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1966 - $2368 | Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:00P - 6:30A) with every third weekend and holiday rotation (Thanksgiving & New Year's Eve) Are you an experienced Emergency Room RN looking for your next adventure? Join our healthcare partner as a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse, where you'll utilize your skills and expertise to provide exceptional care to patients in need. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can administer prescribed medications and treatments, document care according to standards, and develop patient care plans tailored to individual needs. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working alongside interdisciplinary members to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and policies
- Document care according to standards of care
- Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute patient care plans as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across units
- Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate issues appropriately
- Engage in professional nursing activities and peer review processes
- Active IL RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification
- Need 1 year experience in setting
