Field Service Technician IPower your future with Qualus in our Field Services department as a Field Service Technician I. As a Field Service Technician I your responsibilities include performing testing, maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and other electrical apparatus in the shop and in the field.ResponsibilitiesPerforming testing on low and medium voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing testsCompleting mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacementWiring circuit breakersUtilizing and accurately reading test equipmentReading schematics and wiring drawingsTroubleshooting circuit breaker controlsReading and plotting time-current curvesTesting transformers, including Power Factor and TTRAccurately and consistently documenting using Power DBAble to work with electrical tools and socket setsMinimum QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma1-5 years' related experience in commercial and industrial maintenanceMinimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems testingLicensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferredReference and complete assignments as described in applicable specificationsPerform regular field work both indoors and outdoorsStrong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management abilityProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Valid Driver's license and good driving recordAbility to communicate effectively in English (inclusive of reading and writing) due to the nature of safety-related materials, documentation, and interactions with clients.Benefits & CompensationQualus benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays, for those who qualify.The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
