Registered Nurse (RN) Nights

Position Overview Unity Psychiatric Care, located at 930 Professional Park Dr, Clarksville, TN 37040, USA, is a 24-bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to stabilizing care for adults, especially seniors, experiencing a mental health crisis. We are seeking registered nurses (RN) for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions to provide personalized, compassionate care and support patients’ families during challenging times. Shift and Compensation Schedule: 7:00PM to 7:00AM Shift differential: $3.00 per shift Responsibilities Evaluate and care for patients from admission to discharge Carry out physician’s orders, complete clinical assessments, initiate and update treatment plans Provide group and individual therapy and education to patients Administer treatments and interventions that may require restraints or seclusion Educate family members on medication administration, side effects, patient disorder characteristics, disease prevention, and basic coping skills Qualifications One year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics and/or mental health Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a registered nursing degree (Associate level or higher) Registered Nurse license required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Other Requirements Position may require unscheduled overtime and weekend work Must be willing and able to work flexible hours Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds Equal Opportunity Employer Our organization does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, or any other characteristic(s) protected by federal, state, and local laws.
